The Association of Hotels and Tourism of the Dominican Republic (Asonahores), announced the XXXIII Trade Exhibition, the most significant business platform between tourism suppliers and companies.
Paola Rainieri de Diaz, president of Asonahores, spoke at a cocktail held in Santo Domingo and highlighted the importance of the meeting in which participants can establish business relationships in the tourism sector.
Attendants may also show new options for marketing their products and services and “the Asonahores Trade Show is the ideal opportunity for local and international companies to take advantage of the situation and growth of the local tourism sector and its impact on the national economy,” said the tourism expert.
Rainieri, who became president of the entity last year, said that the event is from September 11-13, 2019, in Punta Cana.
“The commercial link between buyers and suppliers is what generates a high interest in participating in the Asonahores Trade Show, thus demonstrating the successful results obtained by the exhibiting companies year after year,” said Rainieri de Diaz.
Support to SMEs
Meanwhile, the executive vice president of Asonahores, Andres Marranzini Grullon, informed that the XXXIII Asonahores Trade Exhibition presents recaps their commitment to the development of the micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), for which they have a free space for artisans to exhibit their products.
Marranzini said that one of the trade show goals is to exceed the 12,000 visits received in the last edition, where participating delegates, visitors and buyers can enjoy more than 40 talks and training workshops, press conferences, and social activities.
The event is being sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism, Banco Popular Dominicano, Punta Cana Macao Energy Consortium, CODELPA, Puntacana Group, United Petroleum, among others.
