Reopening of restaurants

Rainieri said that restaurants are expected to comply with health guidelines like more spaces between tables, fewer diners, and with a restricted number of people.

In addition, Asonahores is also working with restaurants to make menus available on mobile applications to avoid touching physical ones.

The president of the largest tourism entity in the Dominican Republic said that hotels bound to comply with health guarantees for visitors.

“We will have to see, when we really begin to open, how everything works when implementing these protocols”, Rainieri added.

She commented that the sector would be ready to carry them out when they are allowed to open for business.
